Courtyard Inn Redevelopment
North Highlands, CA

Bid Due - Tuesday, September 11th, 4pm

The following is an upcoming project which we request a proposal from your firm.  The project is entitled, "Courtyard Inn Redevelopment" located in North Highlands, CA. 

[Note: We are also soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers including qualified Section 3 businesses, minority-owned & woman-owned businesses.]

The project consists of the following:

  • A full remodel converting an existing two-story motel into apartment units. 

  • A full remodel of an existing restaurant into a community center.

  • New construction of two (2) two-story apartment buildings.

  • Majority of the site includes new hardscape, site amenities and landscape.

  • Site will be unoccupied during construction, no project phasing.

  • Interiors of existing buildings will be stripped down to framing.

The project is scheduled to start around late October to Early November 2018 with a  +/-14-month total duration.

We are accepting bids for the Hazardous materials abatement on behalf of the Owner, however Owner will contract directly with Subcontractor for this work.  Remediation work shall occur, and units shall be cleared for entry as one of the first orders of business.

Please Note:  This project is Subject to Federal Davis-Bacon Prevailing wages including all regulations, compliance and reporting for Section 3, Equal Employment Opportunity and Minority & Women-Owned Businesses.  Refer to Division 00005 in the Project Manual for specific wage rates for the project as well as detailed outreach and labor compliance requirements. And, please note your inclusion of Prevailing Wages on your bid proposal.

  • RFI’s will be sent to the architect upon receipt and answered as soon as possible. RFI’s will NOT be accepted after Wednesday, August 29th.
