INVITATION TO BID

We are notifying you of an upcoming project which we request a proposal from your firm.  The project is called “Tabora Gardens Senior Apartments”.  This is new construction of a 3-story, 85-unit affordable senior apartment complex which will be located in Antioch, California.  Construction is anticipated to begin in late summer/early fall 2016, with a 15-month duration.

The bid date and time shall be Thursday, July 7th, 2016, at 4:00 p.m.  Your proposal may be faxed, mailed, or e-mailed in to our office prior to the bid time.

Please note:  This project is subject to the higher of the following prevailing wage rates:  State of California Prevailing Wages, Residential Rates as applicable for Contra Costa County and Federal Davis-Bacon Residential Wage Rates for  Contra Costa County.  These wages and Federal Labor Compliance requirements are in the project specification book or you may contact our office for this information. 

This project is also subject to SBE, MBE, WBE, DBE, DVBE and Section 3 compliance and reporting.  We are soliciting bids from all subcontractors and suppliers, including qualified Section 3, small, minority, woman-owned, disadvantaged and disabled veteran business enterprises. 

Notice is hereby provided that no subcontractor may be awarded a contract or bid this project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).  Please go to https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/ to register online.
