Sunseri Construction greatly
values lasting relationships with our subcontractor partners. These
relationships allow us to provide exceptional service to our clients
as we strive to create a committed and valued project team. A
component of this is Sunseri Construction’s policy to pre-qualify
and re-qualify all of our subcontractors.
The pre-qualification process is not a pre-requisite to bidding or performing our Work. However, prior to entering into Agreement with your firm, Sunseri will ask you to submit evidence as may be required to verify your ability to perform the work.
The prequalification/requalification process entails completing an application which you can find below.
Also, to accompany the Application will be the following:
Prior year and interim financial statement(s).
OSHA 300A logs for the last three years.
W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number Form.
All certificates to substantiate your qualifications in diversity.
Sample current certificate of all insurance coverage, as outlined in the Insurance section of the Prequalification/Requalification Application.
Some of the information we request is sensitive and therefore we want you to be assured that what you submit to us will be kept in the strictest confidence and is only reviewed internally. All sensitive information will be shredded upon final review.
Sunseri Construction requires each and every subcontractor partner to have the following types of insurance policies. Some of the required limits may be higher than your current limits due to supplemental project-specific or client-required coverage. If higher limits are required, our subcontractor partners will be notified prior to bid time.
Commercial General Liability
Commercial Auto Liability
Additional Insured Endorsements are necessary as part of the insurance requirements.
The insurance company must be rated an A (V) or better company by A.M. Best.
Please contact our Risk Manager, Ryan Miller with any questions you may have regarding specific limits and coverage. Sunseri Construction, Inc. will not pay for special endorsements or waivers.
Sunseri Construction may require your company to provide payment and performance bonds. This requirement is based on several factors which include but are not limited to type of work being performed and subcontract size. A sample of our required bond forms are below.
