Subcontractor Prequalification/Requalification  

Sunseri Construction values lasting relationships with our subcontractors. These relationships enhance the service we provide to our clients and builds a committed and valued project team.

The pre-qualification process is not a pre-requisite to bidding or performing our Work.  However, prior to entering into Agreement with your firm, Sunseri will ask you to submit evidence to verify your ability to perform the work.

The prequalification/requalification process entails completing an application which you can find below.

Also, to accompany the Application will be the following:

  • Prior year and interim financial statement(s).

  • OSHA 300A logs for the last three years.

  • W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number Form.

  • All certificates to substantiate your qualifications in diversity.

  • Sample current certificate of all insurance coverage, as outlined in the Insurance section of the Prequalification/Requalification Application.

Your information will be kept in the strictest confidence and is only reviewed internally.

Insurance/Bonds

Requirements/Limits

Sunseri Construction requires each and every subcontractor to have the following types of insurance policies. Some of the required limits may be higher than your current limits due to supplemental project-specific or client-required coverage. If higher limits are required, our subcontractors will be notified prior to bid time.

  • Commercial General Liability

  • Commercial Auto Liability

  • Worker’s Compensation

Additional Insured Endorsements are necessary as part of the insurance requirements.

The insurance company must be rated an A (V) or better company by A.M. Best.

Please contact our Risk Manager, Ryan Miller with any questions you may have regarding specific limits and coverage. Please notify us with your bid if you have any costs associated with special endorsements or waivers.

Bonds

Sunseri Construction may require your company to provide payment and performance bonds. This requirement is based on several factors which include the type of work being performed and subcontract size. A sample of our required bond forms are below.
